Dove Bash 2026: Los Cazadores' Dove Season Kickoff Event in Pearsall, TX

Dove season is almost here, and this year Los Cazadores is celebrating the opener the right way. From September 1st through 6th, 2026, we're hosting Dove Bash at our Pearsall, Texas store — open to the public, fully stocked, and set up to get South Texas hunters ready for the field.

What Is Dove Bash?

Dove Bash is our annual dove season kickoff event, presented by Los Cazadores at our Pearsall location (490 I-35, Pearsall, TX). It's part gear-up event, part community celebration, a chance for hunters across South Texas to stop in, stock up, and swap stories before the season opens.

During the event, we'll have free beer and food, giveaways, and in-store specials on gear, ammo, and firearms running the full week. If you've been putting off replacing worn-out gear or want to see what's new before opening day, this is the week to come by.

Fully Stocked for Dove Season

We know what matters most the week before opener: shells. Los Cazadores Pearsall will be fully stocked on dove loads, including the new Federal Texas Dove line, so you're not scrambling to find ammo the morning of the hunt.

Beyond ammo, Dove Bash brings out gear and support from brands South Texas hunters already trust in the field, including Mossberg, Savage, and Retay USA firearms, Vortex Optics and Leupold glass, Chippewa snake boots, Mojo motion decoys, Turtlebox speakers, and Walker's hearing protection — with representation from American Outdoor Brands on hand as well. Whether you're upgrading a shotgun, adding a scope, or finally buying that pair of snake boots you've needed for two seasons, this is the week to do it in person and ask questions before you buy.

Purchase or Renew Your Hunting License

Texas Parks and Wildlife will be represented at the event, so if you still need to purchase or renew your Texas hunting license, you can take care of it while you're here — one less thing to handle before opening morning.

Dove season gear is the kind of thing worth seeing in person - snake boots need to fit right for a full day on your feet, and a new scope or shotgun is easier to feel comfortable with after actually handling it.
