Trophy Scan App Relaunches With New Deer Scoring Features

TROPHY SCAN RELAUNCHES WITH AN ALL-NEW MOBILE EXPERIENCE FOR HUNTERS

The next generation of Trophy Scan makes it easier to scan and score trophies in the field while adding certified scoring, nationwide contests and an expanded hunting community.

BUCHANAN DAM, Texas — October 2026 — Trophy Scan is back with a completely redesigned mobile experience that gives hunters a faster, easier way to scan, score and do more with their trophies — all from their phone.

Originally developed as technology to digitally scan and score antlers, Trophy Scan has evolved into a complete mobile platform built around four simple steps: Scan. Score. Certify. Compete.

Using the newly relaunched Trophy Scan app, hunters can create a detailed 3D scan of any whitetail deer, by simply following the guided scanning process on their phone. Once the scan is complete, Trophy Scan generates an estimated field score in minutes — no complicated measuring process or special equipment required.

Just your trophy and your phone.

The experience doesn't stop with a field score. One of the biggest additions to the new Trophy Scan is certified scoring. Hunters can submit their scan for official scoring review and receive a certified score and official score sheet that can be saved and shared.

Hunters can also put their trophies to the test through Trophy Scan Contests. Eligible trophies can be entered into nationwide contests where hunters can follow leaderboards, see how their trophies stack up and compete for prizes.

The new Trophy Scan also introduces a community built around the hunt. Hunters can share their trophies, discover trophies from other hunters and keep their own scans together in one location — creating a place for the trophy and the story behind it to live long after the hunt is over.

For hunters who have used Trophy Scan before, the relaunch represents a completely new experience. For those discovering Trophy Scan for the first time, the idea is simple: scan your trophy, get your score and preserve the hunt.

The newly relaunched Trophy Scan app is available as a free download for iOS and Android.

Scan. Score. Certify. Compete.

Preserve the Hunt Forever.
