Early Season Deer Hunting Gear: What Texas Hunters Need Before Opening Day

Texas archery season opens Saturday, October 3, 2026, and runs through November 6 across 252 of 254 counties. The early youth-only weekend follows October 30 – November 1, and general season opens statewide November 7.
