3rd Annual North American Gets Started Right!
Posted: 9/15/2009
Pearsall, Texas – This past week marked the official beginning of the 3rd Annual North American Los Cazadores Deer Contest. On Friday afternoon, the first deer of the year came in to be scored. The massive whitetail was harvested in Wisconsin by Kenneth Reicherzer. Mr. Reicherzer walked through the doors at Los Cazadores, holding a true Northern mammoth, we all began to start adding in our heads to see who could guess the closest score. As the tape measure began stretching across the antlers, we quickly realized that we had all under-guessed this beauty. Good tine length and outstanding mass along with the thirty three points quickly began to exceed the 200 inch mark. When all was said and done, the buck grossed 257 3/8 B&C with 45 6/8 inches of mass and 22 7/8 inches of inside spread. Congratulations to Mr. Reicherzer for starting the year off with a bang! Don’t forget to check out the Los Cazadores Leaderboard to see the latest entries into the North American Deer Contest.
